Oil & gas is DynaQual's heritage market. The lab was founded by oilfield-service veterans, and our largest customer base is the suppliers and Tier-1 service companies that build downhole, subsea, and surface equipment. Test programs typically focus on three failure modes: structural fatigue from drilling-induced vibration, electronics survival in high-temperature wellbore environments, and seal integrity under hyperbaric pressure.
We support the Big-3 oilfield service companies and their suppliers with HALT/HASS programs for design margin discovery, qualification testing for new tool releases, and production screening to filter early-life failures before tools ship to the wellsite. Our hyperbaric pressure vessels and helium-leak benches are used routinely for downhole tool sealing verification, and our combined thermal/vibration capability lets us replicate the multi-axis service environment that breaks single-axis-tested tools in the field.
Typical engagements include downhole tool qualification (logging-while-drilling, measurement-while-drilling, wireline), subsea connector and electronics validation, surface pumping and flow-control reliability, and independent failure-analysis testing when a tool returns from the field damaged.
